Brown Gets it! Taxpayers money is not for protecting terrorists!

When it comes to our national security, U.S. Senator Scott Brown gets it. He understands who the enemy is and how to deal with them. During his acceptance speech after winning the U.S. Senate race he said that our tax dollars need to be spent on the military to hunt down and kill our enemy and not to hire lawyers to defend them.

President Obama on the other hand is so naïve in dealing with the war on terror (which he refuses to call a war on terror, for fear of offending terrorists), begs the boldness of our enemies to hit us again and again.

The latest suicide attempt by Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, “the underwear bomber”, to bring down a plane full of innocent passengers on Christmas eve is but a hint of what is yet in store for us, and does not scratch the surface of the bizarre avenues of ruthless havoc available to these dedicated fanatics.

To them, death in martyrdom is preferred over living.

So how did Obama handle this terrorist attack? First, by denying that it was a terrorist attack or part of any organized Al-Qaeda plot, and treating Abdulmutallab like a common criminal. He was read his rights and provided a lawyer.

If the situation wasn’t so serious, this would be a joke. The problem is that America is under attack by Al-Qaeda and Obama is just not prepared to play hard ball. Abdulmutallab should have been treated as an enemy combatant and interrogated immediately by our military. We needed to find out who he worked with and whether there were any other attacks planned. Instead, he was advised that he has a right to remain silent, blah, blah, blah.

So, now while Al-Qaeda is laughing at us for failing to recognize a terrorist attack, Obama shows them how weak we are by closing the American Embassy is Yemen. Why? Because the United States cannot keep our diplomats safe from Al-Qaeda. So, how can we expect that our government will keep us safe?

President Obama has surrendered. And while he had intelligence that Yemen is now the hotbed for terrorism, last month he released 6 terrorists being held at Guantanamo and sent them where? You guessed it, back to Yemen, so they can help train and strengthen Al-Qaeda and attack us again.

Well, he had to keep one campaign promise: closing Gitmo and letting the terrorists go free. Closing Guantanamo and spending millions of taxpayer dollars to buy new prison accommodations in mid-America for these enemies, and giving them the rights and privileges of United States citizens, is about as foolish and suicidal as it gets.

But now with the election of Scott Brown, the situation looks a bit brighter. The trial of Khalid Sheikh Mohammad (KSM) has thankfully taken a reverse course and will most likely not take place in New York City. What a slap in the face of all those who suffered during the 911 attack to suffer again by having the mastermind of 911 tried in a civilian court with the rights and privileges of Americans. President Obama should be ashamed of himself for creating this circus, with the cost of security alone in the millions of taxpayer dollars. Imagine during World War II, having to read all German or Japanese prisoners their rights (reserved for Americans) and then releasing them to fight again, or dragging them back to the U.S. for trial?!

Yes, we are at war, President Obama. And Senator Scott Brown gets it!
