BRAINTREE, MA (September 29, 2016) – Alexander Duke of Ipswich is the fourth $1 million prize winner in the latest edition of the Massachusetts State Lottery’s popular “40X The Cash” instant game that went on sale March 1.

Duke opted to claim his prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (before tax withholdings).  He had planned to retire from his job as a truck driver in December, but given his good fortune, he has decided not to wait any longer and is retiring immediately.

Duke purchased his winning ticket at Rite Aid, 15 Haverhill Rd. in Amesbury.  It’s the first time he has ever bought a lottery ticket at this location.  The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale.

There are two additional $1 million prizes available in the “40X The Cash” $5 instant game.
