Lawrence Directors and Managers Complete Leadership Institute

ManagersandDirectors2014-6-June 12, 2014, Lawrence, MA- On June 11, 2014, the City of Lawrence and Cambridge College (Lawrence Campus Business & Professional Development Center) graduated fourteen (14) Directors and Managers from Mayor Daniel Rivera’s Leadership Institute.

The faculty of Cambridge College has the expertise in training and coaching managers and leaders on critical organizational effectiveness skills. Since its inception in 1971, Cambridge College has been a long-recognized leader in providing practiced based professional development.

“I applaud Lawrence campus Director Joseph Miglio, Professor Joel Saren and Personnel Director Frank Bonet for putting together a series of tailored courses for obtaining valuable and needed skills for our employees,” said Mayor Rivera.

“These are skills that are prized for our efforts to improve the service and support we give to our customers, the City residents. Our residents deserve the best, and the graduates of this Leadership Institute are now better prepared to make Lawrence better.”

Cambridge College Municipal Leadership Institute design eight (8) half day customized and focused workshops to help the Mayor and the City’s Department leaders achieve and maintain its preeminent position in serving the residents of Lawrence through effective and efficient management practices.
