BRAINTREE, MA – Jonathan Vega of Lawrence is the third $2.5 million prize winner in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$2,500,000 Holiday Bonus” instant game.

Vega chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $1,625,000 (before tax withholdings).  He plans on putting his winnings into savings.

His winning ticket was purchased at Route 110 Convenience, 196 East St. in Methuen.  The store will receive a $25,000 bonus for its sale.  Since 2007, Route 110 Convenience has also sold five $1 million prize-winning instant tickets and two $100,000 Mass Cash prize winners.

While all three $2.5 million prizes have been claimed in the “$2,500,000 Holiday Bonus” $10 instant game, one $1 million prize is still available.
