LOTTERY JACKPOTS TOTAL OVER HALF A BILLION DOLLARS FOR MIDWEEK DRAWINGS

Mega Millions jackpot at $245 million, Powerball jackpot at $322 million

 

BRAINTREE, MA (february 26, 2019) – The Mega Millions jackpot for the Tuesday, February 26 drawing is an estimated $245 million, while the Powerball jackpot for the Wednesday, February 27 drawing is an estimated $322 million.

 The cash option on the Mega Millions prize is an estimated $148.3 million, while the cash option on the Powerball prize is an estimated $196.1 million.

 Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing will be the 16th since the jackpot was last hit January 1, when a $425 million jackpot was won on a ticket sold in New York.

 Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing will be the 18th since the jackpot was last hit December 26, when a $298.3 million jackpot was won on a ticket sold in New York.

 Mega Millions tickets are $2 each and can be played in 44 states, Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands.  Tickets for Tuesday’s drawing can be purchased until 10:45 p.m. Tuesday at Massachusetts Lottery retailers throughout the state.  Drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 11:00 p.m. ET in Atlanta, GA.

 Powerball tickets are $2 each and can be played in 44 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.  Tickets for Wednesday’s drawing can be purchased until 9:50 p.m. Wednesday at Massachusetts Lottery retailers across the state.  Drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET in Tallahassee, Florida.

 The jackpot for Wednesday night’s Megabucks Doubler drawing is an estimated $500,000.

 All drawings are available via the Lottery’s website – masslottery.com, and can also be viewed on the Lottery’s official Facebook, Twitter and YouTube accounts.
