Rep. DiZoglio Endorses DeFranco for Congress

Defranco-Dizogilo

“I am standing with Marisa as a personal friend and I wanted to make sure I came to show my support and ask your support for Marisa DeFranco for Congress in the 6th District.”

State Representative Diana DiZoglio (D) Methuen, has endorsed Attorney Marisa DeFranco for Congress in the 6th Congressional District.

John Tierney is the current congressman in the 6th district he is facing DeFranco and a third democrat, Seth Molten.

“I am honored to have Representative DiZoglio’s support, from one woman to another, DeFranco said in a press release.

“I think it’s amazing to have someone in your position jump on board this early in the campaign,” Attorney DeFranco told Representative DiZoglio.

DiZoglio addressed a packed room at Prince Pizzeria in Saugus last month during the DeFranco for Congress kickoff.

“I wanted to make it a top priority today to drop by and show my support for Marisa DeFranco,” DiZoglio told the crowd.

“Marisa is one of those people who will get up and say whatever she feels is right and really doesn’t care who has a problem with that. That’s something that we need in congress.”

“[Sometimes] there’s this this fear to do the right thing and stand up for what the constituents really need. Marisa is not going to be afraid; she is going to stand up for what she believes in and what her constituents need.”

“I am standing with Marisa as a personal friend and I wanted to make sure I came to show my support and ask your support for Marisa DeFranco for Congress in the 6th District.”

DeFranco is one of three candidiates seeking the Democratic nomination for congress in the 6th district. Also running for the nomination are incumbent Congressman John Tierney, and Seth Molten.

Richard Tisei is the only Republican seeking his party’s nomination. To date there are no independent candidates declared for this race.
