Stop Blaming God

I am getting tired of people saying that God is judging and punishing America because of all the wrong that is going on today in the United States; this of course includes Lawrence, Massachusetts. My answer to this is simple. If that were true, then God would owe Jesus Christ an apology because over 2000 years ago, Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross for all of man’s wrong doings. It was then and there that God judged and punished sin, and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin. So if God was punishing America now, then God would be guilty of not being a just God. Since God is just and righteous and all love, He cannot be punishing America today. God cannot condemn the same sin twice, which would be Double Jeopardy!

So what is hurting Lawrence and the rest of America today? Clearly it’s the withdrawal from our founding constitutional principles. More and more of our freedoms are being replaced with liberal and progressive legislation which are contrary to the Constitution of the United States of America! For example, the most contrary piece of legislation that the liberal and progressive movement has today (which is their centerpiece), is the principle of redistribution. Taking from those who have and giving it to those who have not.

This one principle has chipped away at the heart and will to put in a good days work. Why work hard or take pride in one’s work when you know that more than 50% of Americans are receiving some kind of government assistance? This belief has filtered down from adults to our high school kids, producing an attitude of entitlement. Many of our young adults are showing up to work with the assumption that the company who has hired them owes them a paycheck just because! When is brake time? When is lunch time? How many personal and sick days do I get? This work ethnic and entitlement mentality comes from years of liberal and progressive indoctrination, most of which comes right from our colleges of higher learning.

For instance, take the great city of Lawrence where every Labor Day weekend we celebrate the Bread and Roses Strike of 1912. A strike that was prompted by a two-hour pay cut which corresponded to a new law shortening the workweek. More than twenty thousand workers were involved, including almost every mill in Lawrence. The strike lasted more than two months and when it was all over, mill owners decided to settle, giving workers raises of up to 20 percent.

What would these same twenty thousand workers, after going through what they did, say today, if they heard what took place in this same city 102 years later in these same mills? A forum was held by a panel of five, assembled by Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, along with an audience of about 200 to discuss for 90 minutes the topic of immigration. One of the suggestions and comments that was made at this forum was that the city needs to restore trust in its police and the state should issue drivers licenses to undocumented immigrants, and reform workplace laws to ensure better wages for immigrants now working in the so-called shadow economy.

On the surface this may sound okay, but notice how the terms immigrants and undocumented immigrants were being used. This is another perfect example of in-your-face liberal and progressive terminology. They now have changed the term of illegal immigrant to undocumented immigrant. It doesn’t matter how you say it, illegal is still illegal in my book. Knowing that the statement comes from someone who attends Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government doesn’t make it okay! On top of this, they want the state to issue driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants! This is their solution! This is their answer to immigration in Lawrence! They really believe they are entitled to drivers licenses. They think the state should reward them with these driver’s licenses even though they’re undocumented (illegal) immigrants! This is just liberal socialism! On a side note, have you noticed that they changed the term “Global Warming” to “Climate Change”? They, the liberal progressive movement, really think that we are stupid enough to not notice; all the while our state government continues to get more and more overextended and overburdened.

Likewise, our federal government keeps overextending itself by taking on healthcare, Obama Care as we know it and should I dare mention, the federal government sponsored Common Core Curriculum that is soon coming to a school near you. Our government was never designed for these kinds of programs which have resulted in our separation from our fundamental freedoms. Whatever happened to self sufficiency? None of these social programs are found in The Constitution of the United States of America.

Now you see what I mean by Stop Blaming God!

In conclusion, God has left it up to us, the people of this great Country, to elect men and women who will fight for and implement policies and legislation that helps its people to be free and self sufficient, and not dependent on the Government for their sufficiency! The time is now, this November! Don’t vote the party line, vote for the individual who will stand for and protect the Constitution of the United States of America!

God Bless each and every one of you!
