Each year Joe Zingales and Rosanna Zingales-Lopez from Century 21 TEAM ZINGALES in Methuen donate at least $1,000 for our Valley Patriot BASH Scholarships. This year they picked a superstar to receive this college scholarship, Christian Kinsley from Lawrence High School and a star basketball player.

Joe Zingales took the microphone at the bash and thanked Valley Patriot publisher Tom Duggan for his scholarship efforts every year during the BASH.
“My sister and I are proud to be here. I’m an immigrant from Sicily and my sister Rosanna was born here. When my father came here he resided in Lawrence and that’s where we grew up for 25 years. So, Lawrence has a special place in our heart because it gave us everything we have today. So, it’s very important to me and my sister and Gisel and everyone at Century 21 Team Zingales to give back as much as we can. This year, we are proud to say our scholarship winner is a Lawrence High School senior who is dedicated, passionate, humble, a team 1st leader and always willing to sacrifice for the greater good.

Christian’s GPA is 3.0, he is taking advanced placement classes. He is a three year varsity and two year captain of the MV Champion Basketball team, he participated on the football and track teams as well as volunteering in many community activities like tutoring and reading to grammar school children, coaching and mentoring 7th and 8th graders at the Lawrence YMCA Smart Hoops Program.

Rosanna and I and everyone at Team Zingales are honored to give Christian Kinsley $1,000 scholarship for college.”
