Located at 200 Sutton St., owner Julie Potvin, (formerly of Dellaria in Andover), has over 15 years experience in the beauty industry. Julie is a Merrimack Valley native who attended Essex Agricultural Cosmetology school.

She says she decided to open her own salon because she wanted to use her talents to create a new experience for her clients, a place where she could have the freedom to offer more services and provide a “beauty haven” for everyone who steps into the Hue.

“Learning new techniques is my passion,” Potvin says. “I always want to utilize my skills and be able to offer more services to my clients”

She says she decided to open in North Andover because it would be convenient for all of her existing clients and it was an area that was familiar to her. She says she searched for the perfect location but nothing popped out at her until she found the perfect location in North Andover.
Now located at 200 Sutton St. in the rear of the building, Julie says she chose the location because of its quaint and cozy feeling. “I wanted my clients to feel inspired when they walked into my salon,” she says.

“I like to support local business owners by incorporating their art and decor at Hue House.”
When you step into Hue House, the decor is diversified, bringing together art with refurbished design. Julie is an avid supporter of her fellow business owners. Her colleague, Hector Green, designed recycled furniture, and pieces made from old wood to combine almost a retro, yet earthy feel in the salon. “The decor is one of a kind artwork pieces created by Marcus Sebastiano, a local and upcoming artist.”

Besides herself, Julie employs only the best local stylists: Tracey Lord, Michael Lessard, and skin therapists Debbra Dupuis and Amanda Santos.

Hue house has two professional desk staff members and two apprentices. Hue House boasts natural and ecofriendly product lines. They offer both sulfate & sodium chloride-free products, plus an organic and vegan free line as well.
