Two great fundraisers for two incredible causes!
Body Slams for Breast Cancer in Newbury! Atlantic Pro Wresting of Newburyport/Newbury provides a family friendly show every month. Professional wrestling from up and down the North Shore area and beyond meet at the Newbury Fire Hall where they entertain young and old for good old fashion wrestling. Tag Teams, Belt Winners, and Champions win the hearts of many fans, all the while donating partial proceeds to the Newbury Fire Hall! The month of October will be there best show ever, why? Because October is Breast Cancer Month and the boys and girls of Atlantic Pro Wrestling will be having a Body Slam For Breast Cancer Fundraiser! Every time a wrestler Body Slams an opponent, Atlantic Pro Wrestling will donate $5 to the American Breast Cancer society. They will also be offering a 50/50 raffle where half of the proceeds will be donated, and merchandise for sale, along with a collection box available for additional donations. This event will take place on October 19, 2013 and doors will open at 6:30pm. The show begins at 7pm and the event will continue until roughly 10:30 pm . Halloween Ball Fundraiser – Sure To Be A Spooktacular Event! Get those costumes ready, and plan a night full of dancing, raffle items, auction items, and more! The Newburyport Guide is proud to announce their Halloween Ball Fundraiser. Live music DJ’s Joe Moakly and Woody will sure get your feet moving while you dine on great food by Andiamo Restaurant of Newburyport, and Eat Cake! of Newburyport, there will be a cash bar as well. This Halloween Ball Fundraiser will be a 100% fundraiser ball raising money for the Boys and Girls Club, Christmas Tree Santas, and the Newbury Fire Hall.
Costume prizes for King and Queen of the ball will be given. This event will be a great way to get more use out of those Halloween Costumes and giving back this year to three great organizations that not only help those that need it around the holiday season, but save the lives of those around you.
