I am humbled and honored to share that I have been selected for a two-year fellowship with the Future Caucus, focused on Energy and Environment Innovation. This fellowship represents an invaluable opportunity—not only for me but for all of us in Lawrence and Methuen—to bring new ideas and resources to our communities. It’s a chance to learn, to collaborate, and to contribute to solutions that address some of the most pressing challenges of our time.
Today, our society is still largely reliant on fossil fuels and the movement of turbines to power our lives. These traditional methods have carried us this far, but as we look toward the future, we recognize that they are no longer enough.
Our communities need cleaner, more sustainable options that don’t compromise the environment or weigh heavily on the budgets of working families. Through this fellowship, I will gain critical insight into the latest energy technologies and practices, understanding firsthand the pathways we can take to diversify our energy sources and reduce our dependence on outdated infrastructure.
But my goal in pursuing this opportunity goes beyond personal growth. I am eager to leverage what I learn to make a real impact at the local and state levels. With the knowledge I gain, I intend to advocate for policies and initiatives that will attract start-up companies and entrepreneurs in renewable energy and environmental technology to Lawrence and Methuen.
These are the kinds of investments that bring not just economic growth but lasting improvements to our quality of life.
Imagine a future where Lawrence and Methuen are known as leaders in sustainable energy, where our children can grow up breathing cleaner air, where jobs are created not just for today but for the industries of tomorrow.
This is the future I envision, and it’s one that I believe we can achieve together. As your representative, I am committed to using every tool at my disposal to bring these resources home and to build partnerships that prioritize our community’s health, economic resilience, and environmental responsibility.
