A native of the Merrimack Valley, Rodriguez has been focused on healthcare as an investment professional for 10 years. Currently, he serves as Senior Research Analyst for Casdin Capital, LLC, a life sciences-dedicated institutional investment fund, based in New York, NY. In this role, Rodriguez leads research and investment management efforts in medical technologies, healthcare information technologies, life science tools, diagnostics, and industrial biotechnology. Prior to his current position, he was vice president in Equity Research in the healthcare group at Cowen and Company in Boston.

Rodriguez holds a PhD in Biological Sciences from Harvard University, a Master’s degree in Cell and Molecular Nutrition from Tufts University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maine. He and his wife, Susan, have two young children.
