It’s time to stop pretending that “International Laws” or “The Geneva Convention” actually mean anything.
They are the embodiment of fake constructs used only by dictators and tyrants to stop their victims from fighting back once they have committed an atrocity, or an act of aggression.
Case and point; our resident communist Luis Yarid’s column this month on page 18 criticizes the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) for not adhering to the Geneva Convention: the recognized rules of war for all to follow.
All, except the terrorists, tyrants, and dictators at the U.N., who refuse to follow them with no consequences.
So, let’s review.
There was a cease-fire already in place on October 7, 2023 when “Palestinians” invaded Israel and went door to door in civilian Jewish neighborhoods, storming homes, raping, kidnapping, torturing, and killing Jewish civilians.
Where does “international law” allow that kind of behavior? Where were the calls for “Palestine” to follow “the Geneva Convention”?
The silence at the U.N. was deafening!
Yet, the minute Israel started to organize their response, and before even one bullet was fired, the Palestinian terrorists and their appeasers in the West were all crying that the Israelis were breaking the rules!
We say, to hell with the rules.
The IDF has every right to kill civilians, as terrorists are – by definition – civilians. Their families are also fair game as were the Hitler Youth who were killed in the carpet bombing of Dresden and Berlin in WWII.
The IDF has every right to level all of Gaza – and Beirut if need be – to stop the constant barrage of Jew-hatred coming at them from all over the Arab-Muslim world, with no intervention from the United Nations or any other “international” body to enforce these fake “international laws”.
We stand with Israel’s right to exist.
We also support their efforts to kill anyone and everyone who stands in their way, and we condemn those meddling appeasers in the west who call for one standard for terrorists, and a different standard for their victims.
We say no cease-fire!
It’s time for Israel to finish the job and eliminate all of Hamas and Hezbollah. ◊
