Valley Patriot Partners with House of Mercy for Disaster Relief

The Valley Patriot newspaper has partnered up with non-profit, House of Mercy, Team Zingales/Century 21, TMF (The Movement Family), and Heat Quest Insulation in Haverhill to provide direct relief for the thousands of people affected by the Columbia Gas Disaster in Lawrence, Andover, and North Andover.

This page is for those who want to donate items or money to network directly with those who have been displaced and are in need. It is a networking page so that we can help pick up items and get them where they need to go.
A stand alone bank account has been created  for financial donations you can make checks payable to “The House of Mercy Relief Fund” ad mail it to The Valley Patriot, PO BOX 453, North Andover, MA, 01845. DO NOT Make Checks payable to The Valley Patriot.
We are also partnering with Heal Lawrence and TMF, The Movement Family (both non-profits) to help identify and verify those in need to make sure donations are going to deserving victims.
HOUSE OF MERCY WILL BE OPEN TOMORROW, SATURDAY UNTIL 4PM TO RECEIVE ITEM DONATIONS
(They desperately need clothing, underwear, diapers, underarm, toiletries and non perishable food items). They are located on Bay State Road in Lawrence (off Water St.). Please use the link above to let us know what you are bringing and when you will be coming by.
