Performing at The Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom, Godsmack drummer, lead singer and Lawrence native Sully Erna took the stage with a full house of fans eager to hear his acoustic solo show.
Sully played for well over two hours with his acoustic unplugged show.
The spirit Sully Erna has for music was just awesome for his regular fans and new fans alike. Sharing many personal stories, Sully inspired the crowd when he started singing each song.
At one point Erna mentioned how great it was to be back in New England performing since he was born and raised in Lawrence, but his tours keep him away from his home town. Erna played a spate of new songs and even delighted the crowd with older Godsmack songs as well.
The crowd roared with every beat of his music. To enhance the Casino Ballroom ambiance, The Casino Ballroom added theater style seating which is a new way to enjoy the performance. Each chair even has a cup holder so the audience could sit and relax during the show. Another Lawrence boy makes good! Congratulations Sully Erna on all your success, and thank you for your inspiring musical talent.
