Methuen High’s Briana Tratchenberg Receives $3,775 Scholarship At Annual BASH!

The Valley Patriot BASH Scholarship and Award night supporters donated $3,775 to Briana Tratchenberg of Methuen. Flanked by her family, Methuen School Committee member Jana Zanni Pesce and Methuen City Councilor Eunice Zeigler, and former councilor Ryan Hamilton, Tratchenberg was presented a check by Valley Patriot publisher, Tom Duggan.

The scholarship was started this year by Dave Garafolo of Two Guys Smoke Shop and Studio 21 Podcast Cafe in Salem NH, for a student going into communications, journalism, or broadcasting.

This year the scholarship winner Brianna Trachtenberg is a graduating senior at Methuen High School. She is in the National Honor Society, the History Honors Society, and the Science National Honors Society.

She is also a member of the Methuen High School marching and concert band.
Throughout high school she has been on the honor roll and is president of her temple’s youth group.

Next year, she plans to attend Quinnipiac University and major in Journalism.
The Valley Patriot’s First Studio 21 Podcast Café Scholarship winner Brianna Tratchenberg was erroneously left out of last month’s BASH edition.
