Random Thoughts with Ronnie Ford

My good friend Steve Zanni, duly authorized and sworn in as Mayor of Methuen, is finding himself in little battles here and there. Mayor, you have to establish a plan of running things and stick by it. You are going to have political spats and the mark or character of a political leader is his ability to lead and not waver. Steve you are doing all right, but you have to understand that they have their sights right on you. And, the fingers are on the trigger. A word to the wise is sufficient.

As I pen this, it has been almost eight weeks since the Benghazi attack, and murder of an Ambassador and three Americans. Yet, we have not heard anything credible from Obama. Surprise, surprise! Why?

They are investigating! Bull! Obama and his secretaries and other fools in his administration, fiddled and danced while the US Consulate in Benghazi was attacked, and four Americans were savagely tortured and murdered. How many of you saw the pictures that were rampant on the Internet of our Ambassador being held by some terrorist under his arms and dragged through the streets? Chris Stevens was stripped from the waist up, chest area brutally scared and bleeding, his eyes looked like someone almost close to unconscientious and death. How horrid to see that and what if his mother saw that! Yet, Obama called the incident “bumps in the road”. How anyone can EVER believe anything that comes out of his mouth is beyond me. Did any of you notice the SILENCE of our news media on this subject? Why are we not calling them out on this? If we are silent on this it mean s we agree with Obama. Come on people start yelling. Do not let this inept president get away with this. What if it was your son or daughter?

What have we learned in the last 2065 years? “The budget should be balanced, the treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance” CICERO, 55 BC. EVIDENTLY, NOTHING!

Now more than ever, our nation needs a lot of prayers. I do not know who will win the presidential election, but who ever it is will need prayers. Please drop in to the Perpetual Adoration at St. Monica’s and say some prayers for us all.

May the good Lord take a liking to you, do something nice for someone today. And, we wish you enough.
